Is JPFO Too Radical?

The following words were once prominently posted on JPFO’s home page. Perhaps you could call it a “mission statement”.

“I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.” Barry Goldwater 1964

What if those words had been uttered earlier by the golden JFK, instead of the outspoken, testy “extremist” Goldwater? They’d be enshrined along with “Ask not what your country…”, wouldn’t they?

Evaluate Goldwater’s words carefully. Can anyone out there tell me how any American can declare these words “too radical”?

And yet, some in the pro gun ownership movement would have JPFO “tone it down” and be “less confrontational”.

“You don’t want to alienate people!” “Please! Keep the discussion civil.” “You must allow room for disagreement. It’s the American way.”

JPFO’s “Goody Guns” project really started to smoke some of these weak-willed fence sitters out of their nooks and crannies. It also lured victim disarmament lunatics like Josh Sugarmann of Handgun Control Inc. into irrational hissy fits that revealed their deeply pathogenic mind sets.

Why “Goody Guns”? Don’t you understand? From kindergarten on, your kids will be literally brainwashed against firearms ownership if they go to most public schools. “Goody Guns” can actually “inoculate” your children against this mental disorder.

Too radical? Sorry, but there comes a time where you “Just say NO.”

Why? Because our opponents (more accurately our enemies) are insidious liars. They are no “loyal opposition”. They are traitors to the foundational basis of America. They would utterly erase the Bill of Rights by turning “We The People” into a groveling pack of unarmed gerbils.

It’s time for millions of gun owners to replace their ostrich stance with something realistic. “Moderate” gun owners are being played for suckers by the gun prohibitionists. The so-called “moderate” and “responsible” approach has us staring at a centralized registration of all firearms owners within the next four years.

How can a government effectively disarm a citizenry if the government does not know where the guns are? What part of their agenda is unclear to you? Lenin did it. Stalin did it. Hitler did it. Mao did it. Idi Amin did it. Pol Pot did it. And the Turks did it to the Armenians before the others. Please folks, let’s get real here! (See JPFO book - Death by "Gun Control".)

What if some of the Founders of this nation could somehow be brought back from the dead and transported to our present time? What would they think about the present majority of gun owners, the so-called “moderate” gun owners? If you consider yourself “moderate”, do you really think these great men would break bread with you today?

“They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house?”   Patrick Henry 1775

There are more than sixty five million gun owners in America now. And yet the “moderate” gun owners would have us cowed before the authoritarians and elitists in our government, and bowing before mentally ill corrupters like Sarah Brady. (Read "Raging Against Self defense" by Dr Sarah Thompson).

So we should be “more polite”? In the context of what is in the balance? That is literal insanity.

How about these next words, from “gun nut” Thomas Paine? Paine’s political tract “Common Sense” is considered the philosophical match that lit the fuse of the American Revolution.

“Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them (arms); for while avarice and ambition have a place in the heart of man, the weak will become a prey to the strong. The history of every age and nation establishes these truths, and facts need but little arguments when they prove themselves.”

Has Paine’s wisdom been proven? Look at the world today! Disarmed victims sprawled across killing fields in nearly every quarter of the world. Thank you, “gun control”.

One of JPFO’s solutions to this deadly idiocy is the documentary “Innocents Betrayed”. I challenge you to show this DVD to any “moderate” gun owner. Watch the light go on in his or her mind. If the light doesn’t go on? Distance yourself from that person. He or she will be nothing but trouble to you in a future where sides may have to be taken.

Or: "Arms in the hands of the citizens may be used at individual discretion for the defense of the country, the overthrow of tyranny or private self-defense."

That wasn’t Charlton Heston, folks. That was lunatic gun nut John Adams, the second President of the United States. Gee, John, no mention of “hunters’ rights”?

Let’s get a bit edgy:

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence and third President of the United States.

Whoa, Tom! Chill out! We don’t want to hear that! Yes, I know that the Gun Control Act of 1968 was copied directly from Nazi law (Read "Gun Control“, Gateway to Tyranny).  But … but you’re being way too confrontational! We have to trust our leaders! We must remain civil!

Or how about that silly idealist James Madison? Madison is rightfully called the father of our Constitution and The Bill of Rights. He said:

"Americans need never fear their government because of the advantage of being armed, which the Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation." (Watch “2A Today for The USA")

Or again from that famous paranoid, Patrick Henry:

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.”

“Ruined”? Patrick, isn’t that a bit … extreme?

And how would Mr. Henry prevent ruination?

His answer: “The great object is that every man be armed.”

Armed with what, Mister/Madam “Hunters’ Rights” moderate? Only deer rifles or duck guns? Seriously, what part of this somber reality don’t you understand?

How about this next guy?

"Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword, because the whole of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops."

That’s brilliant scholar Noah Webster in 1787. I wonder if Webster would observe the government and police forces, with their own full auto assault rifles, and advise you to settle for a musket so the citizenry can “constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops”.

And a last warning from James Madison:

”A Government resting on a minority, is an aristocracy not a Republic, and could not be safe with a numerical and physical force against it, without a standing army, and enslaved press, and a disarmed populace.”

Well, we’ll soon have our standing army, the mainstream media seems enslaved to the idiocy of victim disarmament, and a disarmed populace can be achieved when all the names and addresses of gun owners are soon compiled in a centralized database. (Watch "The Gang").

Sadly, if some of the Founders could visit with us now they would plead with us, very likely on their knees. Plead with us to not defile the countless gallons of brave blood that has been shed to deliver to us this precious and tenuous freedom we can still exercise. Extremism in the defense of liberty created America. Moderation in the pursuit of justice is now destroying us.

No, JPFO will not “moderate” its stance. JPFO will continue to supply you with the intellectual ammunition needed to defeat the liars of the “gun control” cabal. And this, hopefully, before they require defeating in another manner.

**************

A CORRECTION: In a previous article ("You Know it's Coming"), I erroneously stated that the movie “The Manchurian Candidate” had been pulled completely out of circulation. This was not the case, as was responsibly pointed out to me by a reader. (Thank you, Joe G.)

And while we are at it, I have made every attempt to validate the legitimacy of the historical quotes used in this article. Some in the pro gun community have been a bit fast and loose with historical quotations. JPFO will always make the extra effort to validate quotes and documentation. We do not need to lie or distort to defeat our enemies. They are the liars. We must make every effort to be meticulously honest.

"Wow, talk about a very well written article, thanks JPFO, and thanks Marlin for reposting this" (Marlin T)

"I'm kosher with that!" (Dakota Red 1)

"Who would know better than the Jews the consequences of a nation of people being disarmed by their gov,t?" (Mjolnir)

"hmmmm...they don't seem "radical" to me at all.?" (bcj1755)

"Once burned twice shy. Too radical? I wouldn't dare to ask." (TranterUK)

"NO, maybe not radical enough." (Nighthawk)

"That's what we need in this country, less PC, more GUTS!" (Haligan)

"That's an awesome article Marlin. Thanks! I'm going to share this with some like-minded acquaintances." (ponycar17)

"Outstanding piece, Marlin. I was opening our car door in the parking lot of Sam Seltzers Steak House in Sarasota, FL last summer when an elderly Jewish gentleman was getting out of the car next to us. His sleeve slid up as he opened the door, and a fading blue number was exposed on his arm. My eyes were riveted to it, unable to look away for what seemed a long time as the impact of that number hit home with me, but was really only seconds. I looked up and his eyes met mine - Those eyes!
Lord, I will never forget the look in those eyes.
They spoke of torture.
They spoke of enduring hatred.
They spoke of the excruciating pain of being a victim.
And behind all of that, there was a strength even in this elderly failing gentleman that clearly spoke; "NEVER AGAIN!"
Too radical? Not at all."
(ampaterry)

"Ampaterry, I have also met people with the numbers, 30 odd years ago in Israel. I had the same reaction as you. I met some that were children during the war, one that was born in a camp. I am not able to put into words all that I felt, perhaps enough to say the feeling is a strong today as 30 odd years ago. Referring back to the thread, its worth remembering those horrors were done with and by a government upon disarmed civilian victims. So no, the JPFO is not too radical, far from it." (TranterUK)

"Fantastic post Marlin! The JPFO has the right message!!!!! If you don't know your history you are doomed to repeat it! We know it and now is the time to start acting on it!" (noslolo)

"No, they are absolutely right!" (obxned)

"Hey Marlin, just a note to thank you and commend your post....the true reality. Our society has been reduced to "sheeple" because of the constant attack of the "wolf" within. There is now a society of "sheeple" & "bulldogs", and the time will come to fruition that the "sheeple" will grovel to the "bulldog" to save them from the "wolf". I might be an "'ol bulldog", but my teeth can & will inflict severe teethmarks to the "wolf". The "sheeple" can fend for themselves as the culling of the weak, at times, is necessary." (yorkiepap)

"The time may be approaching when even the JPFO is not radical enough. Great article! I got permission from JPFO to repost the entire thing on my own site. Good folks over there." (alhefner)
